What This Blog Is

NeoantigenLab covers the biology, tools, and clinical translation of neoantigen-based cancer immunotherapy. Posts are written for experimental researchers - wet lab scientists, bioinformaticians, and translational oncologists - who want to understand the field beyond review article summaries.

Topics include neoantigen prediction pipelines (pVACseq, NetMHCpan), TMB and HLA typing, mRNA vaccine design, TIL therapy, checkpoint inhibitors, CAR-T, bispecific antibodies, and weekly clinical updates on FDA approvals and pivotal trial results.

Who Writes It

No name, no institution, no company logo. A few standing rules instead:

  • Every command, flag, and cutoff in a protocol is checked against current tool docs and FDA labels before publishing — not carried over from an older guide that may have gone stale
  • Clinical claims (biomarker cutoffs, drug indications, trial results) are checked against the primary source, not a review article's summary of it
  • When a tool's documented behavior turns out to be wrong or outdated, that gets corrected in the post — not quietly worked around

Individual posts and protocols will say exactly what was checked and how — that detail lives with the content it's about, not here. If something's wrong anywhere on this site, say so — it'll get fixed and credited, not defended.
